Cuttack: Four persons were killed and two injured after the car they were travelling rammed into a truck near Anantapur under Salepur block in Cuttack district Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Sher Ali, his wife Alija Biwi, son Sheikh Siraj and nephew Sanwar Ali from Simbalpada area.
According to reports, the car which was on its way to Bhubaneswar, collided with a truck and three people died on the spot.
The injured were rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital. However, one of the injured succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Among the injured, Ashique Jamal was discharged after treatment while Fayaz Khan is undergoing treatment.
