Dhenkanal: Four members of a family were killed when a truck hit a bike near Nihalprasad in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district Monday.
Police said a couple and their two children were going on a motorcycle when a heavy vehicle hit the bike, killing the couple on the spot.
The seriously injured two children were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they succumbed to injuries.
As tension prevailed in the area after the accident, Police rushed to the spot and seized the heavy vehicle. The driver of the vehicle however managed to escape from the spot.
