Rourkela: A 20-year-old girl was abducted while waiting for an auto-rickshaw after duty and gangraped in a forest throughout Sunday night by two youths here in Koelnagar area in Sundargarh district.
Police swung into action and launched a manhunt to nab the rapists after the victim lodged a complaint with Plant Site police Monday.
Sources said, the victim works at a fast food center. After work, she was waiting for an auto-rickshaw when the two youths offered her a ride home. Instead, they took her to a forest where they took turns on her throughout the night and fled in the morning, leaving her helpless.
Meanwhile, two minor boys were arrested for raping a minor here in Malkangiri district Monday. Sources said, the 14-year-old girl was in a relationship with one of the boy and had gone to meet him. He then took the girl to a forest near the village temple and outraged her modesty while his friend recorded the act.
