Cuttack, Nov 19: There was goal rush in both matches of the FAO first division football league which were played at the Barabati Stadium here Saturday.
In the first match Radha Raman Club trounced Sunshine Club 10-0, while in the second, Jay Durga Club hammered Kishore Club 9-0.
In the first game Amino Kanhu (3), Ranjit Kerketta (3) Anand Lakra (2), Janma Xess and Krishna Das (one each) were the scorers. In the second game Rajat Nag (3), Kishore Khadiya (2), Mahesh Sahoo (2), Santosh Tudu and Santosh Nayak (one apiece) were the scorers.
Sunday’s games: Sports Hostel Vs Morning Club; Sunrise Club Vs Rising Student Club.
TT squads
The Orissa State Table Tennis Association announced Saturday the boys and girls teams who will participate in the 77th Junior and Youth Inter-State TT Championships which will be played at Dharmasala, November 24 to 29.
The teams: Boys: Bikash Singh, M Eswar, Janmajoy Moharana, Sudeep Behera, Arya S Mohaprasastha and Krishan Prusty.
Girls: Ananya Basak, Ankita Senapati and Suryasmita Aparajit.
Subrat triumphs
Subrat Das defeated Jeet Kishore Das 4-2 to emerge champion in the 1st All Orissa Snooker Championships which concluded here Thursday. In the final, Subrat won 23-64, 71-28, 67-37, 59-36, 46-59, 69-60, 64-50, 53-51.
