Mumbai: You must be remembering Prachi Desai who shot to fame with the TV show ‘Kasamh Se’ at the age of 17 only. Well Prachi Desai celebrates her birthday September 12. Well Prachi Desai has already established her place in the Hindi film industry being part of hit movies like ‘Rock On’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, ‘Bol Bachchan’, ‘I Me Aur Main’ and ‘Azhar’.
On the occasion of her birthday, here are some facts about Prachi.
Prachi was a big fan of actor Shahid Kapoor during her school days. However, with time Hrithik Roshan became her favourite.
In the serial, she worked with one of the highest paid TV actors Ram Kapoor who was much older than her. Later during an interview Prachi said, “I always wanted to work with a hero older than me. I think the presence of an older man and a young woman makes it interesting.”
Prachi is also the face of Neutrogena skincare brand and has won the ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ reality dance show.

Prachi also acted in the film Ek Villain with earned 100cr. In this film, she played the role of Riteish Deshmukh’s wife.
Prachi’s sister Esha Desai also wanted to become an actress.
Currently however, Prachi is away from limelight.
This year her Malayalam film ‘Mamangam’ will be released. Prachi ssaid that if she ever gets an opportunity she would like to work with the likes of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkummar Rao and Aditya Roy Kapur.
