Mumbai: Vaani Kapoor, who started her career with the 2013 romantic comedy ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, does not have many films in her kitty but has still managed to establish herself in the glamour world.
Vaani has also acted in the South Indian films with the Tamil and Telugu language romantic comedy ‘Aaha Kalyanam’.
Vaani was born 23 August 1988 in Delhi and today is her birthday. On this occasion, we are going to tell you some unknown facts about her.
Vaani’s father did not want her to become an actress. His father is an exports entrepreneur and also runs an NGO.
Her mother was a school teacher but now works as a marketing executive. Vaani’s elder sister Nupur has settled in Holland after marriage.
Vaani in an interview said that her father believed girls should get married soon and should settle down in life. She also revealed that her elder sister got married at the age of 18 but Vaani did not want to do so.
She also said that her father was against Vaani wanting to become a model but his mother supported her and helped in convincing her father.
She completed a Bachelor’s degree in tourism from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and did an internship at the Oberoi Hotels and Resort in Jaipur. She also worked at ITC Hotel for days.
Later, she chose modeling as a career. Till now Vaani has worked in three films but her stature is no less than a super hit actress.
