Jharsuguda: Police arrested a headmaster on charges of molesting the girl students under Banharpali police limits in Jharsuguda district Thursday.
The accused was identified as Ajay Behera, headmaster of an Ashram School under the Lakhanpur block of Jharsuguda district.
Behera will be produced in the court Friday, Banharpali IIC Ranjit Naik said.

The accused has been accused of misbehaving and molesting the girls studying in Classes VIII, IX and X by regularly entering into their hostel rooms and bathrooms.
The accused allegedly again molested two girls Wednesday.
Fed up, the girls got together and lodged a complaint with the block social welfare officer Jyotsna Raudia, apprising her about their ordeal.
Later, Jyotsna informed the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Punyabati Helen Xess, about the regular ordeal of the girl students.
Directed by the DSWO, the block social welfare officer lodged a complaint at the Banharpali police station. Police registered a case (171/25) and launched an investigation.
During the probe, police found clinching evidence against the headmaster and arrested him.
