Sambalpur: In a major twist to the death of Sambalpuri actress Simran Singh, the last voice message of the actress, sent to a male friend, believed to her husband has been going viral on social media platforms.
Simran is heard crying and addressing how she has completely broken down in the message.
“Everyone is saying that I am doing drama but I am not. I have completely broken down and I cannot handle myself anymore. You should have asked me once to leave everything and come home with you and I would have done it for you. I wish you had tried to put in some effort in the relationship, but you didn’t,” Simran says in the voice message.
Though the entire conversation between the two was not clearly audible, Siman’s friend, who is yet to be identified, was heard saying ‘why don’t you die.’
Simran sent the one minute 18 seconds long audio message through Whatsapp before she was found dead. Though initial reports suggested that the actress was killed, the voice call record has now raised suspicion of suicide.
The person who she is addressing the message to is yet to be ascertained. However, it is being speculated that the message is for her husband Yug, whose name she mentions twice in the audio.
She ends the message saying, “I am going far away from you, from myself and from my family.”
The 20-year-old actress, who was quite popular for Sambalpuri music video Selfie Bebo, had tied the nuptial knot with a youth from Bolangir named Yug. Meanwhile, Simran’s family members alleged that she was murdered by her husband and the body later dumped under the bridge.
Simran’s body with multiple injury marks was found under Mahanadi bridge near Goira Matha Thursday morning. Investigation is on into the incident.
