Bhubaneswar: An MoU has been signed between the state’s Higher Education department and TCIL of Department of Telecommunication under the Ministry of Communication for development of smart and virtual classrooms in 101 degree colleges in the state. The 101 colleges include 51 government-run and 50 government-aided colleges. Each smart classroom will have a desktop, interactive white board, short throw projector, portable visualiser, white board, green board, wireless microphone and a camera. This will expose the students to a system of modern and quality education which will be more efficient and practical based with audio visual impact.
