Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department Thursday extended the last date for reporting applicants and admission updation for UG (2nd round selection) and PG (1st round selection) courses till August 5 in view of incessant rains and bad weather in the state for the last few days.
As per the new timeline for UG courses the selection of slide/ freeze/ float option and online payment of admission fees by the selected students through the SAMS portal has been extended till 11.45 pm on August 4 (Friday).
The reporting of applicants at the allotted institutions for taking admission (for Second Round Selection) has been till5.00 pm on August 5 (Saturday). Data updation of the admitted students in the e-space by the respective institutions (for Second Round Admission) has been extended till 7.00 pm on August 5 (Saturday).
Similarly, for PG Admission the selection of slide/ freeze/float option and online payment of admission fees by the selected students through the SAMS portal is extended till 11.45 pm on August 4 (Friday).
Reporting of applicants at allotted institutions for taking admission (for First Round Selection) has been extended till 5.00 pm on August 5 (Saturday).
