Puri: The chariots of the Holy Trinity Nandighosha, Taladhwaja and Darpadalana, came to a halt Thursday after covering part of the Grand Road during the annual Rath Yatra. The remaining journey to the Gundicha Temple will resume Friday.
Lord Balabhadra’s Taladhwaja chariot halted at Market Chhak, while Devi Subhadra’s Darpadalana stopped at Marchikote Chhak. Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosha also halted after covering only a short distance, bringing the day’s chariot procession to a close.
