Bhubaneswar: Domestic carrier IndiaOne Air launched direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jamshedpur under the Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) scheme Tuesday from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), a source said.
IndiaOne Air’s aircraft VT-KSS took off from BPIA at 7:30 AM today. The flight service will connect Kolkata, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar.
As per the source, the airfare from Bhubaneswar to Jamshedpur has been fixed at Rs 2999. Similarly, the cost of air travel from Jamshedpur to Kolkata has been fixed at Rs 1999.
According to IndiaOne Air, it will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes from Bhubaneswar to Jamshedpur and 1 hour and 5 minutes from Jamshedpur to Kolkata.
