Rayagada, June 15: A former member of Rayagada Zilla Parishad, Binod Nayak, was again interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Monday in connection with Tikiri shikhya sahayika Itishree Pradhan immolation case.
Nayak was regularly in touch with Itishree since she was appointed as shikhya sahayika in Tikiri and also had telephonic conversations with her for around 1500 hours in three years.
Apart from Nayak, two other persons were also quizzed by the agency sleuths Monday. One of them is a Bihari youth named Phutul Kumar. Sources said the agency quizzed him after getting concrete evidence that he was in constant touch with Itishree.
Kumar works in a private company. The third person quizzed by the sleuths is an Oriya working in a private company in Rayagada, the sources added.
