Bhubaneswar: A 30-year-old man was found hanging at his residence in Kalinga slum near Badagada Brit Colony under Badagada police limits here Friday. The deceased identified as Muna Sahu was staying at the slum for last several years. According to sources, Muna was earlier working as a labourer at a factory in Kerala. However, he along with his wife returned to Odisha after he suffered from some eye related ailment. He started working as a daily wager here but later became jobless as he lost his eyesight. Later, his wife started working as a daily wager. Frustrated over the issue, Muna Friday hanged himself from the ceiling fan of the room when his wife was away. On reaching home, his wife called the police who rushed him to Capital Hospital where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. The body was handed over to his wife after the postmortem.
