Keonjhar: The Vigilance department sleuths Friday caught Keonjhar Sadar Block Junior Engineer (JE) Pramod Kumar Panda red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 11,000.
Panda was caught taking the bribe from a contractor in lieu of passing his arrear bills and handing him new projects.
Currently raids are being carried out by Vigilance sleuths at Panda’s office and residence. Officials are trying to ascertain whether he has accumulated inappropriate wealth.
