Sajanagad: A lady teacher, a resident of Nilagiri police station area in Balasore district was allegedly abducted by unidentified miscreants.
The matter came to the fore after her family members lodged a complaint in this connection. They said that the female teacher was kidnapped with an ill intention.
According to reports, as per her daily task, she was travelling to the school at around 9.30 in the morning on her scooty. However, few masked miscreants came in a car and dragged her into the vehicle and sped away before she could understand anything and shout for help.
After getting the information, her father lodged a complaint against a youth named Manas of Kandagaradi village. He alleged that Manas was in a one-sided love affair with her daughter. After his daughter rejected Manas’ love proposal, he kidnapped her in revenge, the complainant said.
He also requested the cops to take stern action against the accused and trace her daughter’s whereabouts at the earliest. Acting on the complaint, police started an investigation into the matter and launched a search operation.
Reportedly, the lady teacher had married to man of Gobardhanpur area earlier. As their relationship grew bitter, the married woman along with her daughter began to stay at her paternal house.
