Cuttack: Reema Sahu, the lone survivor in the sensational parcel bomb tragedy, received fresh check-up and treatment for a day at the SCB Medical College and Hospital Thursday. She complained of poor eyesight. Her sense of hearing has also been badly hit in the impact of the parcel bomb explosion.
The surgeon on duty checked on her health condition and administered injections. Plastic surgery assistant professor Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak prescribed her necessary medicines. She returned home by afternoon.
The doctors advised her to return a month later for follow-up treatment. “The injuries are curing slowly. We have given her a time-frame for check-up and ensuring improvement in her health condition,” the doctors said.
