Different countries have different believes and practices. You must have heard of different kinds of trees but today we are going to tell you about a tree which is filled with coins.
Yes, it is called as the ‘Money Tree’. This Money tree is in an island of Britain and it mysteriously helps in curing all types of illness.
During 18th century, people believed that one could rid of an illness by sticking a coin into a tree. People believed that the tree would take away all the illness from them by sticking the coin on it.
It is also said that if anyone pulled one of the coins from the tree he would become ill. Since then, anyone who wants to get cured of his ailment or sometimes get his wishes fulfilled sticks a coin on the tree and offer prayers.
Thousands of coins have been stuck on this tree since the last 1700 years old. It is located at Portmarian village of Wales which has turned into a tourist spot.
Others thought that they would be granted a wish once the coin was driven past the bark and into the tree’s wood.
