Dhenkanal: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly ended his life after hacking his wife to death at Khalapala village near Balima Thursday.
According to reports, Sudhakar Badia had a heated argument with his wife Sili Badia over some family issues.
The altercation took an ugly turn when Sudhakar picked up an axe and hacked his wife to death.
Later, Sudhakar hanged himself from the ceiling of the house.
On getting information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
Meanwhile, the villagers told the police that the couple used to have regular disputes over some family issues.
