A new study has revealed that more than 250 people died from taking selfies in the past six years. Of the 259 reported deaths, research has shown that drowning was the number one cause of death by a failed selfie. The second cause was people taking selfies in front of oncoming trains. Others involved falling from heights, wild animals, firearms and electrocution.
But, the obsession for selfies is not dying anytime soon. Many people are crossing all limits in taking the riskiest selfies. However, there is this model who is known for taking the most dangerous selfies.
Meet Angela Nikolau – a Russian self-taught photographer who takes the most dangerous selfies ever.
Angela is always looking for new challenges and adventures, and while she’s at it – she doesn’t forget to take a selfie (or ask someone to photograph her). From standing on the edge of a skyscraper to laying down on the edge of a high-rise building’s rooftop – all of her pictures are both beautiful and cringe-worthy at the same time.
