Loisingha: Mild tremors were felt for a few seconds at many places in this block in Bolangir district Sunday. People resting in their houses after lunch woke up to a deafening sound at 2.29 pm.
The clay and mud built houses, RCC roofs, furniture and other materials trembled under the impact of the tremors. However, no casualty was reported.
People fearing for their lives ran outside their houses. The incident was reported from Chhelbahal, Sargad, Taliudar, Birkel, Manhira and other villages.
