Minor admin reshuffle in state

Bhubaneswar, May 2: The state government Saturday effected a minor administrative reshuffle after giving its nod to five IAS officers to apply for Central deputation.
The officers who were allowed to apply for Central deputation are: Commissioner, land reforms Nikunja Kishore Sundaray, secretary to Governor Parag Gupta, tourism and culture secretary Arabinda Kumar Padhee, school and mass education secretary Usha Padhee and director, social welfare Aswathy S.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the applications of the five officers Saturday, CMO sources said.
As per the government notification, 2001 batch officer Bishnu Prasad Sahoo has been posted as the new director of technical education and training (DTET) while 2003 batch officer Manorajan Patnaik is posted as the additional inspector general of prisons.
Similarly, Anil Kumar Samal is the new director of tourism. He is also holding the post of managing director of Orissa Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC). Bishnu Prasad Prusty is the new managing director of Orissa State Cooperative Marketing Federation (Markfed).
