Bhubaneswar: The state government Friday carried out a minor reshuffle among Orissa Administrative Service (OAS) level by shifting eight babus.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration (GA) department, Dhananjay Swain, who is working as additional district magistrate (ADM) Kendrapara, has been transferred and posted as additional secretary at Culture Department.
Khurda ADM Sitansu Kumar Rout has been appointed as Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) secretary, while Dhenkanal ADM Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan is the new general manager of Orissa State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC), the notification said.
Similarly, Balasore ADM Manmath Kumar Pani and Orissa Khadi & Village Industries Board secretary Nigamananda Panda have been posted as joint secretaries at Board of Revenue-Cuttack, whereas Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) deputy commissioner Abanikanta Patnaik transferred as ADM Dhenkanal and Manas Ranjan Padhi as ADM Balasore.
Besides, the government has appointed Saroj Kumar Patel as secretary of Khadi & Village Industries Board. At present, Patel is working as OSRTC general manager.
