Soro: In a bizarre heist, after failing to loot cash from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of Federal Bank near College Square in Soro, miscreants decamped with the entire machine late Monday night.
The daring act of the miscreants has become the talk of the town. Locals attributed the rise in loots in the area to lack of patrolling.
The incident came to the fore when locals noticed the ATM kiosk ransacked early Tuesday morning. They immediately informed the cops following which a probe was launched into the matter.
The exact amount of cash present in the ATM machine is yet to be ascertained. It is worth mentioning here that ATM loot cases have been rampant in Balasore over the past few months.
