Bhubaneswar, March 24: Mithun Chakravarty of Sunabeda in Koraput district has brought laurels for the district by winning a gold medal in the recently-concluded kick-boxing championships (senior male category) in Thailand. His family, classmates and Koraput MLA Krushna Chandra Sagaria greeted him for his achievement after he arrived at Koraput station Tuesday morning. The kick-boxing championship was organised March 12-22 with players from 67 countries.
