Bhubaneswar: After BJD workers and leaders from Nischintakoili, Mahakalpada and Salipur, now its BJD district president of Kendrapara Dhruba Sahoo has also written to party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik against the local Lok Sabha MP Baijayant Panda accusing him of indulging in anti-party activity.
In his letter to the BJD chief Thursday, Sahoo alleged that Panda has been constantly ignoring party workers in the district and is being guided by members of opposition parties.
He alleged that Panda is ‘whimsical’ about using his MPLAD fund and has distributed funds ‘irrationally and inequitably’. Further, Sahoo stated the Kendrapara MP is indulged in anti-party activities. In his letter Sahoo said, “During the last GP elections Panda tried to motivate BJD followers to vote for BJP.” Sahoo also wrote that the ‘non-warranted’ activities of Panda cause “division among party people at different grounds and also led to creation of group of dissident people.”
