Cuttack: Mystery shrouded the death of a person who was found unconscious on a road near Parabil under Kishorenagar police limits here Monday. The deceased was identified as Rajendra Behera, 32, of Keshupur under Kandarpur police limits. Behera was working as a contract labour in the railways.
Some locals spotted Behera lying on the road unconscious and sent him to SCB Medical College and Hospital where he died during treatment. The locals said Behera might be on his way home after completion of his duty at Bada Khandeita railway station.
On being informed, Kishorenagar police reached the spot and seized the bike before starting an investigation into the incident.
Mangalabagh police handed over the body to his family members after conducting a post-mortem.
