Bhubaneswar, June 5: Commissionerate Police Friday conducted a polygraph test on two persons in connection with the death case of social activist Nalini Prava Das.

The polygraph test was performed on auto-rickshaw driver Kalindi Sethi (28) alias Muna, who used to offer services to social activist and nephew of the deceased Brundaban Barik at State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) here.

“Sethi and Barik were taken to SFSL by Airfield police here at around 11.30 am and the test began at about 12.30 pm. Both were quizzed for about two and half hours during which they were asked 30 questions each,” twin city police commissioner RP Sharma said.

SFSL will submit the test report in three days following which we will initiate action in the case, he added.

Police sources said blood pressure, sweating and few other testing parameters essential for the lie detector test reportedly went against the duo.

Recently, a local court in its ruling had ordered the police to perform the lie detection test June 5.

Earlier, May 23, the decomposed body of the activist was found inside her house near Aerodrome area under Airfield police limits.
