Mumbai: Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor gave a rare glimpse of her family as she re-shared a picture featuring four generations of the Kapoor clan.
The photograph featured her late mother-in-law Krishna Raj Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and granddaughter Samara. Sharing the special family moment on Instagram, Neetu captioned the picture, “Rare… 4 generations in one picture.”
The priceless frame brought together members of the Kapoor family from different generations.
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor, was a prominent member of the Kapoor family.
Krishna married Raj Kapoor May 12, 1946, when she was 16 and he was 22. She came from a prominent film family and was the sister of actors Prem Nath, Rajendra Nath and Narendra Nath. Krishna Raj Kapoor and Raj Kapoor had five children together — Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain.
Krishna Raj Kapoor died October 1, 2018, due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 87. Rishi Kapoor had travelled to the US for treatment after being diagnosed with cancer, with wife Neetu Kapoor and their son Ranbir Kapoor. As Neetu could not attend Krishna Raj Kapoor’s funeral, she paid tribute to her mother-in-law through a heartfelt eulogy.

She remembered the profound influence her mother-in-law had on her life. Sharing a heartfelt note on social media, Neetu recalled Krishna’s elegance, wit, generosity and warmth, describing her as someone who would always hold a special place in her heart. The ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ actress had written, “She was such a huge influence in my life admired her elegance Wit Generosity Warmth !!! Neetu Kapoor married actor Rishi Kapoor in 1980, and the couple welcomed two children, Riddhima and actor Ranbir Kapoor.
Riddhima and her husband, Bharat Sahni, have one daughter named Samara Sahni, who was born in 2011.
