NTA exam calendar 2024 was released on the official website of the National Testing Agency at https://www.nta.ac.in/.
According to the notification, examinations such as JEE Main, CUET and UGC NET will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and only NEET(UG) will be held in pen and paper/OMR mode.

Dates of examinations:
According to the notification, the first session of Joint Entrance Examination [JEE (Main)] – 2024 is scheduled to be held between January 24, 2024, to February 1, 2024. The second session of the examination will be held from April 1 to 15 next year.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test [NEET (UG)] – 2024 is scheduled to be conducted May 5, 2024, the notification read.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG for admission to undergraduate courses will be conducted from May 15 to 31, 2024. The CUET-PG will be conducted from March 11 to 28 next year.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be conducted from June 10 to 21,2024, the notification read.

JEE Main is conducted to facilitate admission to undergraduate engineering and technology programs at institutions such as IITs, NITs, and other affiliated engineering colleges.
On the other hand, NEET UG is an entrance examination for undergraduate medical programs at various institutions nationwide.
The outcomes of computer-based examinations will be made available within a three-week timeframe. In the case of NEET UG, results are expected to be announced by the second week of June.

Last year, the NTA began a practice of publishing examination calendars to provide candidates with advance notice of provisional dates. However, this time around, the list does not feature tentative dates for ICAR entrance examinations.
