Cuttack: Renowned Odia filmmaker Subash Rout passed away following a massive cardiac arrest Saturday. He was 62.
He breathed his last in the wee hours at his residence in Chhatra Bazaar here.
According to reports, he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Some of his prominent movies include ‘Suna Panjuri’, ‘Santan’, ‘Bhagya Hate Dori’, ‘Lakhman Rekha’ and ‘Singha Bahini’.
Rout also made a mark in the television industry by producing ‘Tulasi’ – a mega TV soap on ETV Odia.
