Bhubaneswar: Elections to Attabira NAC in Bargarh district and Hindol NAC in Dhenkanal district will be held April 3 next, State Election Commissioner Aditya Prasad Padhi announced here Tuesday.
Padhi said the notification for the election will be issued on March 3, 2023. The tenure of the two NACs will end April 12.
Padhi said candidates intending to contest the election can file their nominations from March 9 to 15, scrutiny of nomination papers will be done March 17 and candidates can withdraw their candidature till March 20.
The counting of votes and declaration of results will be made April 5.
The elections for the post of Vice Chairperson for the two NACs will be held April 19 next.
