Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Saturday met Leader of Opposition and BJD president Naveen Patnaik at his residence to inquire about his health.

Patnaik was recently discharged from a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, where he had been admitted August 17 following complaints of dehydration.

Majhi visited Naveen Niwas in the morning, interacted with the former Chief Minister, and spent a few minutes with him before wishing him good health.

Later, in a post on X, Majhi wrote, “I met the Leader of Opposition Shri @Naveen_Odisha at his residence in Bhubaneswar and enquired about his health. I pray to Lord Jagannath for his good health and long life.”

Earlier, August 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also spoken to Patnaik while he was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The Prime Minister wished him a speedy recovery, advised him to take rest, and invited him to visit Delhi soon.
