Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department Monday seized a leopard skin, and arrested a person allegedly involved in the illegal trade of wild animal body parts, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from the forest wing of the department conducted a raid in Madhapur Forest Range and seized the leopard skin, they said.
A case has been registered against the man under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, an official said.
