Bhubaneswar: RD & Labour, ESI minister Susanta Singh has tested positive for COVID-19, Monday.
Singh himself in his twitter account informed, “ I have tested positive for Corona and I am stable now.”
He also requested his friends who had come in contact with him over the last week to subject themselves to home quarantine.

He was elected as Minister of RD & Labour, ESI, in the 2019 elections. He is also the MLA of Bhatli Constituency in Bargarh district.
It may be noted that the minister had recently gone to Balasore, August 15 for the flag hoisting ceremony.
Notably, Odisha Monday reported 2,244 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 62,294.
Out of the 2,244 new cases, 1,290 were reported from quarantine centres while 854 are local contacts.
