Bhubaneswar: In the last 24 hours, Odisha has recorded only one (01) new Covid-19 case, taking tally in the state to 12,87,980. Active caseload in the state now stands at 85.
Odisha reported zero new fatality in the last 24 hours, tally in the state remaining constant at 9,124 as per a tweet of state Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) department posted Saturday morning. The state also had reported zero Covid-19 fatality Friday.
The single new infection was reported from a quarantine centre. The state had registered 11 cases of coronavirus infections Friday.
District that reported the single fresh Covid-19 case is Sambalpur.

The State Pool did not report any new case of persons coming from outside Odisha and testing positive for the virus.
A total of 3,11,61,429 swab samples have been cumulatively tested so far. The number of recoveries in the last 24 hours stands at 17.
