Odisha reports 1,540 new COVID-19 cases, total exceeds 2.85 lakh

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Wednesday registered 1,540 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 2,85,482.

Twelve fresh fatalities pushed the state’s coronavirus death toll to 1,284.

Out of the 1,540 new cases, 886 were reported from quarantine centres while 654 are local contacts.
