Bhubaneswar: Odisha Wednesday reported 1,876 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 50,672.
Nine additional deaths in the state pushed the death toll to 305, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Out of the 1,876 new cases, 1,182 were reported from quarantine centres while 694 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul district reported 15 new cases, Balasore 81, Bargarh 15, Bhadrak 50, Balangir 31, Boudh 10, Cuttack 109, Deogarh two, Dhenkanal 36, Gajapati 71, Ganjam 260, Jagatsinghpur 26, Jajpur 53, Jharsuguda six, Kalahandi 41, Kandhamal 30, Kendrapada 58, Keonjhar 21, Khurda 297, Koraput 77, Malkangiri 24, Mayurbhanj 70, Nabarangpur 30, Nayagarh 105, Nuapada three, Puri 80, Rayagada 98, Sambalpur 36, Sonepur 22 and Sundargarh 119.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 15,509.
