Bhubaneswar: Welcoming back the Juggernauts for their first home game after a hiatus of the Indian Super League (ISL), a press meet was held at the Kalinga Stadium here Monday. Odisha FC will start their campaign against debutants Inter Kashi Tuesday.
Odisha FC captain Carlos Delgado, along with the new head coach TG Purushothaman, shared a few words on the return of ISL to the state. The Spanish captain, Carlos, known for his defensive ability, who has been with the club since the 2019–20 season said, “It’s been a difficult time for the club since we last played a game in April. When we heard we would be coming back home, we were really happy. “ When asked about preparations for their upcoming game, Purushothaman added, “We are looking forward to face Inter Kashi and will not underestimate them. We have a bunch of new promising players for this season that have added more stability to the team.”
