Bhubaneswar: Orissa has surpassed the national average figures in the registration of Direct Benefits Transfer for LPG (DBTL), also known as Pratyaksh Hastantarit Labh (PAHAL) scheme introduced by the Centre. “As against the all India average of 69
per cent, there has been 70.07 per cent of LPG consumers in Orissa who have registered under the DBTL scheme,” said Union Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan Monday. He said the scheme has become a success with over 10 crore LPG beneficiaries registering themselves under it.
Within a month, the direct benefit amount of nearly Rs 4000 crore has been debited to the accounts of the beneficiaries.PNN
