OSSSC laboratory technician recruitment 2023: The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is set to engage candidates for the role of laboratory technician. Those who meet the necessary criteria can submit their applications at official website at osssc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria for OSSSC laboratory technician:
Individuals willing to apply for this position must be at least 21 years old but not exceed 38 years of age as of the advertisement date. Educational prerequisites include having passed the +2 Science examination under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, or its equivalent, as well as possessing a Diploma in Medical laboratory technology from government medical colleges and hospitals within the state.

Selection process:
The selection process entails a written examination, which will be conducted across the state. This written test is tentatively scheduled for November 2023 and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, totalling 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be two hours.
A provisional merit list of candidates will be compiled based on the cumulative scores obtained in the written test, along with any additional marks allotted to short-term COVID-19 healthcare workers as per the prescribed regulations.
Salary of OSSSC laboratory technician:
The scale of pay and the pay matrix level for the post of OSSSC laboratory technician is Rs 25,500-81,100 with matrix level 7 and cell-1.
