Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus II examinations 2018 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in all the streams, including distance courses, will be held from March 6 to March 29, 2018.
Practical examinations will be conducted before the theory examinations. The practical exams are scheduled from January 25 to February 5.
As per a notification of CHSE, the theory exam for Science and Commerce stream will start from March 6, while the theory examinations for Arts and vocational streams will begin from March 7 and March 21 respectively. The examination for Commerce stream will conclude March 26, whereas the Arts and Science subject exams will conclude March 28. The vocational course examinations will end March 29. All the examinations will be conducted between 10 am to 1 pm.
The CHSE will conduct the examinations as per the new syllabus prepared in pattern of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), said Prabodh Kumar Panda, deputy examination controller of CHSE. However, the ex-regular students will appear the examinations as per the old syllabus, he added.
English paper exam in Science and Commerce streams will be held March 6, while the same for Arts stream and distance education will be held March 7.
MIL (Oriya) test of Science and Commerce students will be held March 8 while the Arts students will appear for the MIL the next day. The students of Arts, Science and Commerce streams, who are having other MIL subjects like Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Urdu, Sanskrit and alternative English, would have their test, March 26.
