Cuttack: School of Printing and Allied Trades is inviting applications from candidates from the state of Odisha to undergo a course of stipendiary apprenticeship training for the session of September/ October 2023.

Trade vacancy details

Stipend: The apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time during their engagement period.

Age criteria: Minimum 14-21 years as of September 01, 2023. As per the guidelines of the Odisha government, this shall be followed with applicable age relaxation.

Reservation: The seats shall be reserved for different categories of candidates as per government guidelines.

Health: The candidate should have sound health to undertake the strain of industrial training. His or her height and weight must not be less than 137cm and 25.4 kg respectively. The cases of physically handicapped and female candidates will be considered depending on their physical fitness as recommended by the medical officer of the organisation.

Mode of selection: Selection for the engagement of apprentices for training will be made on a merit basis, considering their percentage of marks obtained in the HSC equivalent examination.

How to apply

Step 1: Candidates are first required to register in the web portal https://iwww.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for registration as candidates. After registering oneself, one can log to the home page in the apprenticeship portal as a candidate and then go to Apprenticeship Opportunity. Then click search by establishment name (School of Printing and Allied Trades) to click on apply as the prescribed bid against vacancies appearing on the portal.

The candidates have to apply for the respective trade through the Apprenticeship Opportunity of the establishment, i.e School of Printing and Allied Trades. The application will not be accepted without registration on the portal.

Step 2: After registration in the portal, one can log in to the admission portal at https://spat.org.in using the registration number received.

Step 3: Login to Admission Portal using the Credentials such as Login ID {Apprentice Register No.) and Password (Date of Birth).

Step 4: Fill up all the relevant information in the application form and upload the required documents.

Step 5: Pay course fee of Rs100

Step 6: The candidate must be certain of the correctness of all information before filing the online registration and its final submission.

Step 7: After applying, the candidate must take a printout for future reference.
