Potholes turn killer: Viral video shows biker crushed under truck in Mangaluru

In Mangaluru, Karnataka, road potholes are causing accidents almost every day, leading to tragic loss of lives. One such heart-wrenching incident has recently come to light. A bike rider, while trying to avoid a pothole, got caught in the wheels of a truck and died a painful death.

The video of this horrifying incident has surfaced on social media and is deeply disturbing. In the footage, the bike rider can be seen falling and getting crushed directly under the truck’s wheels.

During the incident, the truck driver immediately stopped the vehicle. The video was shared on social media through the handle @DriveSmart_IN.

This accident was fully captured on CCTV cameras. Reports suggest that while attempting to avoid a pothole, the biker lost balance and was hit by a truck. As he fell, he came directly under its wheels, resulting in an instant and painful death.

It is worth noting that potholes have already claimed many lives in Mangaluru, while countless others have fallen victim to severe accidents. Recently, in Nanthoor, another biker fell into a pothole but narrowly escaped death.

In a separate incident, a woman lost her life due to a similar mishap. With accidents occurring repeatedly, residents have expressed strong anger and frustration toward the government over its failure to address the issue.
