Mumbai: The gorgeous Alia Bhatt left no stone unturned to make her father Mahesh Bhatt’s 73rd birthday as a special one. She was joined by her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and sister Pooja Bhatt on the special day. On Monday, the filmmaker turned 73.
Alia and Pooja Bhatt shared pictures of the special day that have been now going viral on social media handles. In the goofy pictures, Alia can be seen holding birthday balloons, which have “simplicity” and “happy birthday pops” printed on them, and happily posing with Mahesh Bhatt.

As you swipe to the last picture of her album, you see a beautiful picture of Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt and his daughter Pooja Bhatt. Mahesh Bhatt’s wife Soni Razdan and their daughter Shaheen joined the party via a video call. “73 years young! Happy birthday papa,” Alia captioned the photos.
Sharing almost the same pictures from Mahesh Bhatt’s birthday party, Pooja Bhatt hilariously called Alia the “setting girl.” She wrote: “The birthday boy… But don’t miss the setting girl!”
Alia Bhatt was last seen in her father’s project Sadak 2. She co-starred with Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the film. Alia has many films lined up. She will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, in Gangubai Kathiawadi and in her own production debut titled Darlings.
Alia Bhatt is currently busy prepping Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which she co-stars with Ranveer Singh. The duo has also worked together in Gully Boy. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is being directed by Karan Johar.
