Khurda: Central Range revenue development commissioner (RDC) Anil Kumar Samal Thursday fell sick after unfurling the Tricolour during district-level Independence Day celebrations at Khurda.
He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital immediately for a checkup and treatment.
According to a source, Samal felt uneasy a short while after unfurling the Tricolour here.
He was scheduled to distribute prizes to meritorious students and personnel in various categories within a short while.
