The couple who got married in 2007 has gone through many ups and downs. However, their love for each other has only increased with time.

Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke: It was the first of the six films in which the two starred for the first time. The film released in 2000. The audience liked the pair. The film directed by Raj Kanwar had Abhishek in the role of an Army captain called Karan while Aishwarya played a named Sahiba. The story unfolds as Sahiba and Karan meet by chance and Sahiba starts falling for the latter.
In this movie Salman Khan did a cameo as a truck driver.

Kuch Naa Kaho: Aishwarya and Abhishek starred under the direction of Rohan Sippy. The film released in 2003 had a budget of rupees eight crore. It earned Rs 13 crore at the box office and Aishwarya and Abhishek pairing was liked a lot.
Guru: Released in 2007, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s chemistry was praised and the movie went to become a superhit. It was during the shooting of this film that Abhishek proposed to Ash.
Dhoom 2: The second installment of the Dhoom series, it hit screens in 2006 and was a box office success.
Umrao Jaan: Umrao Jaan featured Aishwarya Rai’s and Abhishek Bachchan. The chemistry of both of them was great, but the film didn’t do well in comparison to Rekha’s Umrao Jaan. It was rejected by audience.
Raavan: The couple was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. The film released June 18, 2010. Along with Abhishek and Aishwarya, it also had Tamil superstar Vikram in the lead roles. Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Priyamani also featured in key supporting roles.
