Based on the belief that‘comedy is the best element for entertainment,’ Baba Jhadeswar Films has launched its first film ‘Natkhat Romeo.’ Making their debut in the film and playing the lead roles are Roshan and Lipika, who will share screen space with Oriya film veterans Mihir Das, Salil Mitra, Debu Brahma, Pintu Nanda, Pratibha Panda and BikashNayak.

“Love between the protagonists starts after the interval,” says Roshan. “I have good scope to show my talent for comedy in addition to dance and drama. I have been learning dance under Biddu Sir’s tutelage. I have great expectations from ‘Natkhat Romeo,’” adds Roshan.
Producer Shibanarayan Nanda says, “I found professional producers were hiring established actors for their films. So, I decided to promote my son through this film. Its shooting will start in December.”
The film also marks Lipika’s debut on the big screen. She has done a few music videos earlier. Asked about her role, she says, “My role is that of a rowdy girl who gets introduced to the hero in a quarrel scene.”
According to director Ratikanta Sahoo, the hero has an ideal family to guide him from going down the wrong path, but he prefers to live his own life. However, there is one factor in his life that is crucial to the suspense in the film which is revealed to the audience at the denouement stage.”
While AJ Sriram has authored the screenplay and dialogues, Baidyanath Dash has composed the music and Nirmal Nayak and Arun Mantri have penned the lyrics. The film is expected to release on Valentine’s Day 2018.
