Salman to romance Disha, Jacqueline in Kick sequel

Mumbai: The announcement for the sequel to Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Kick’ was made last year. However, the shooting of the film has been delayed by a lack of proper script.

Meanwhile, sources said Tuesday that producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman are discussing the possibilities of casting two heroines in the sequel.

In the first edition, Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez romanced Salman and she is again all set to feature in the sequel. The second name that is doing the rounds is that of Disha Patani.

According to a source, ‘Jacqueline’s name has been finalised in Kick-2 (it can be named something later). However, since the failure of ‘Race 2’, has prompted filmmakers to cast Disha in the sequel to ‘Kick’.

The decision to cast both was taken after Nadiadwala rooted for Jacqueline while Salman proposed Disha’s name.

If reports are true, it will be a dream coming true for Disha who had earlier stated that she is waiting for strong, women-centric roles. She has been training under martial art teacher and celebrity trainer Rakesh yadav.

Worth mentioning, Kick went on to become a blockbuster hit and its songs were chartbusters. The film also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. On work front, Salman is busy in shooting for ‘Dabangg 3’ at present.
