Cuttack: In the wake of rising novel coronavirus cases in state-run healthcare facilities in the Silver City here, the district administration Thursday sanitised several premier hospitals in the city.
SCB Medical College and Hospital, City Hospital, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishu Bhawan) and Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer were among those facilities which were sanitised under the supervision of assistant fire officer Abani Kumar Swain.
Around six fire tenders were used and more than 25 Fire Services personnel were engaged in the drive, said a source, adding that it would go a long way to curb spread of the virus.
